- This newer generation air dryer does a much better job of removing moisture and contaminants from the air than the original abs air dryer does.
- Cleaner air means less frozen air lines in the winter and less corrosion in the air system from moisture. The air connections are identical on this newer air dryer to your older one.
- You will have to use the connections from the old one, they unscrew easily with an adjustable wrench.
- Wiring harness for heater included however you will have to cut and slick factory pig tail to install new heater on this dryer. (Only 2 wires) (See attached pictures)

Not terrible, but I couldn't get the old fittings off the old air dryer that need to be reused for this air dryer. I ended up going all new at a local pipe shop. The single mounting bracket looks and works much better than the original 2 straps, so I'd recommend going that route. It was easy. Remove two of the bolts clamping the two pieces together, place bracket underneath, and re-attach. They send longer bolts in the kit, but the original bolts worked fine also. It doesn't matter which wire connects to which wire. The splice connectors provided are heat shrink. Most of your original hoses will likely need to be replaced due to age, so plan accordingly. Especially the black one next to the battery box.
instructions on heater wiring was unclear. In fact they didn't exist. original dryer heater wiring black and white wiring, new dryer black and black.
